Changing Landscapes examined how we perceive and relate to our physical environments. Using a combination of recorded field sounds, video projection, and carefully designed spatial lighting, the installation created an experience that shifted and transformed as visitors moved through the gallery.
The work drew inspiration from natural landscapes and environmental processes, translating these into an abstract audio-visual language. By removing recognizable imagery, the installation encouraged visitors to engage with the fundamental elements of sound and light, experiencing landscape on a conceptual and sensory level.
Collaborative Practice
Changing Landscapes demonstrated the collaborative nature of contemporary artistic practice. The installation combined the expertise of sound designers, visual artists, and curators working together to create a unified experience.
